Running is one of my passions! I have run many races ranging from 5Ks to Marathons and have partaken in many running challenges, one involving 3 races in 3 days! I find that it is the BEST form of exercise not only to improve your fitness, but also an extremely effective way to lose weight and keep it off.
I will be focusing on delivering individually tailored running programs that cater specifically to your goals and physical condition, whether you are a seasoned competition runner or a complete beginner.
As well as being your ‘running partner’ I will be able to teach you correct and efficient running and breathing techniques. Often joggers and runners repeatedly place undue stress on their bodies because their running technique is poor. This can lead to multiple muscular and joint injuries if not picked up and corrected early. I will be able to pick this up early and help you improve your running performance whilst avoiding injury.
Each running program will include specific stretching and resistance training routines that will strengthen key muscles and ligaments to help condition the body, protect the joints and maximise running performance. These will be used in conjunction with various running drills that will improve your fitness, speed and stamina.
